Of 74 to slate in reply that his C. Wood concurs in the recommendation of H. H. Grant that there Men Should be sent to India for the purpose of undergoing the remainder of their sentence, should it be deemed necessary to enforce it, but in consideration of the extenuating circumstances brought forward by Sir H. H. Grant, Sir C. Wood believes that the two lads Policemen are fair subjects for this clemency, & he would recommend that they should at once be sent back to India that the remainder of their sentence should be remitted from the date of their embarkation in their disembarkation in that Country.
